WHO WE ARE

We are the historic building at 1521 N. Prospect Ave. that openly welcomes you. We'll give you a hug and ask you to keep coming back. We foster relationships and make it together. The place between meetings and fellowship, we are the Milwaukee Alano Club.

MISSION
The Milwaukee Alano Club’s mission is to provide immediate service to the recovery community in a safe, sober, and vibrant atmosphere.  We offer additional programming and assistance, which help empower recovering persons to make productive changes in their everyday lives.

Our History
For more than 65 years, the Milwaukee Alano Club has provided a foundation for people in recovery. Originally built as the Fred Kraus Mansion in 1903, the historic mansion on the corners of Prospect Avenue and Albion Street on the east side has been known as the Milwaukee Alano Club since 1954. What We Do
The Milwaukee Alano Club functions as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by its board of directors, members and volunteers dedicated to preserving the Alano Club's history and environment for Milwaukee's recovery community through 12-step meetings, social programs, fellowship and resources.
